Editorial Consultant & Author

I have edited poetry, fiction, essays, websites, technical papers, grant proposals, magazine articles, executive summaries, business plans, and I am the author/editor of two books, for which I worked on the design and the layout. I hold a BA in Philosophy with a Minor in English from the University of California at Berkeley, and a MS in Design, Engineering Technology & Business Administration from the University of North Texas. I am Adjunct Professor in the Master of Liberal Studies Program at Southern Methodist University and I’ve been a Lecturer & Discussion Leader at the Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture. I am also a Founder, Co-Editor and Co-Designer of Transformation: A Journal of Literature, Ideas & The Arts, based in San Francisco.

I have written and edited publications for a variety of organizations, including:

  • The University of Texas at Arlington
  • The National Career Development Association
  • The American Solar Energy Society
  • The Louisiana Review
  • RKVY Quarterly
  • Energy and Resource Technology HUB
  • The Clean Technology & Sustainable Industries Organization
  • Southwest Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators
  • EarthPeople Media
  • The Association of Energy Engineers

  • Natural Awakenings

I have more than 25 years of writing experience in a variety of areas and so I have a deep appreciation for the process that writers go through. My role as an editorial consultant is collaborative and is designed to help you get the very best out of your work. I have several partners I’ve worked with for many years who specialize in the areas of fiction, journal publishing, communications, and layout for publishing who can come to a given project to assist as necessary.
